Darren's Birthday Party!
Darren celebrating his third birthday! Isn't he so adorable! Check out the collage I will upload to my blog in the next day or two! Darren is our great nephew, son of Leah and grandson to Ramiro & Teresa.
Rose's Canyon Cantina, Trabuco Canyon, CA
Ray went on a ride along to fix the bulb today out in the canyon of a restaurant we visited this past weekend. We noticed the street light was burnt out so he called it in and then did a "ride along" with one of his street light repairman. He really enjoyed watching what they do and how they do it.
SSID Annual Picnic
This is my man! Isn't he just handsome!!!! We attended the annual SSID picnic on Saturday morning and they start the picnic with an early morning softball game. Sadly, this is Ray's last picnic as he has been given a new position at SCE. He is now the Manager of over 700,000 light poles all over Southern California! Can you imagine!!! Well, I can't even begin to imagine. Of course this position is different than anything he did at SSID with the exception of the "managing" part. If you find a bulb out just give him a call!

The Will Men - Rehearsal Dinner
These are the boys in the Will Family. Lynn is one of my dear friends and these are the boys in her life. L to R front row: Grandsons Cade and Dane. L to R back row: Brian (Groom), Steve, Adam and Dan. I just loved the shirts they chose to wear for the rehearsal and dinner following at Macayo's in downtown Tempe.

There are so many varities of cactii in Arizona.
They are so beautiful, but don't get too close!
The Buttes Marriott, Tempe Az
The weather in Tempe was hot but not as hot as it can get. It was around 98 degrees and if you were in the pool it was quite pleasant. Ray especially loved just hanging out in the shade. I loved the sun and especially the view from this hotel of the surrounding areas.
Trip to Tempe Arizona - September 18, 2009
Ray and I left before the sun was up to head to Tempe Az to attend the wedding of my friend's son Brian to Jacquie. The drive was uneventful considering I slept for a couple hours of it. The windmills never cease to amaze me. There seems to be more each time we drive through the Palm Springs area. We had breakfast in Blythe at the local Denny's. Blythe is where we spent the first night of our honeymoon camping on the Colorado River over 32 years ago.
