I have had the summer off and have been having fun learning my new embroidery/sewing machine. I received it for Mother's Day. It is a Husquavarna. When my girls were little I received another Viking sewing machine and loved it so when it was time to replace my old worn out one, I opted for the same one. I am so happy with it!
I also have been very interested in purchasing vintage apron patterns to make aprons. As you can see in my pics there are a few that are just adorable.
When Emily was here to visit this summer I decided to make her a dress from a knit t-shirt after seeing one in a very cute shop here in California. The dress in the pic is my first attempt - it wasn't that hard, and the rick rack was so fun to add! I know she will just love it.
This is my first attempt at blogging and I can only hope with time I will be able to create ones like I have been viewing. Tie one on is my favorite one at this time.
Please enjoy the pics and hopefully I will be able to figure out how to put headings with my pics!
